In footballing terms, Raffael Caetano de Araújo, known as Raffael, is currently playing second-division football with German football club Hertha Berlin. As far as the club's many fans (and most experts) are concerned, this is only temporary and the team's unexpected relegation from the Bundesliga will be rectified next summer. However, there is a field where Raffael has already made it back to the top flight - the Internet. His new homepage was designed and developed by 7DC Seven Dead Cats. A German/Dortmund based webdesign company responsible for lots of other player and football websites.
The website's colour scheme pays tribute to Hertha, of course, while the layout reflects Raffael himself - cool and in a positive sense slightly crazy. Which is why you won't find the menu items displayed in the standard horizontal or vertical line but scattered all over the screen. The homepage his look is dominated by a new and custom-made Raffael logo, also designed by 7DC.
Just as Raffael manages to combine style with substance, the Brazilian's homepage is as much about content as about looks: you'll find an in-depth portrait of Hertha's number 10 as well as up-to-date news. Raffael also values direct contact with his fans, which is why 7DC added a guest book and a video player to the website, so that the player can get in touch with his followers in many different ways.
Raffael's new homepage is available in German, English and Portugese and is linked to a YouTube channel and his Facebook profile.
